Will Justin Bieber Dress Up As Buzz Lightyear In 'Boyfriend' Video?

Singer weighs in on how literal the video will get and when fans might get to hear more from Believe.
By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Kelly Marino

<P>The countdown is on to Justin Bieber's next album release, Believe.</i> And if the response to the album's first single, "Boyfriend," is any indication, the record's appeal might span far beyond the realm of his devoted Beliebers. </P><P> </P><P>"The reaction's been great [to 'Boyfriend']; not only have I got good reactions from my fans, but great reactions from people who, you know, [might not usually listen to my music]. I've gotten messages like 'You know, I never would have listened to Justin and now I love this song,' " he explained to MTV News. "So, it's really great feedback." </P><P> </P><P><CENTER></CENTER> </P><P> </P><P>It's that kind of enthusiasm that Bieber is taking with him as he works on the record in its final stages. He's already hit the studio with folks like Drake, will.i.am, Diplo and Usher and is just chugging along before he has to wrap up and send it out into the world. </P><P> </P><P>"There's not a confirmed release date. It's this summer. I'm really happy with the outcome of it so far," he said. "I mean, we're almost done. We're just kind of putting the finishing touches on it. It should be good." </P><P> </P><P>But before then, fans will have to satisfy their appetites with the Colin Tilley-directed "Boyfriend" video, which should drop in the near future. Unfortunately, the visual won't mirror the single's choice lyrics, "I could be your Buzz Lightyear/ Fly across the globe." </P><P> </P><P>"No, no, I won't be dressed up as Buzz Lightyear," he said. "I think there's some copyright issues, I can't use that." </P><P> </P><P>We look forward to seeing whether Bieber will be "Chillin' by the fire while we eatin' fondue" in the clip.</p>

One Goh, Man Charged In Shooting Spree At Oikos University, Apologizes During TV Interview (VIDEO)

div>

SAN FRANCISCO -- A man charged with killing seven people at a tiny college has told a San Francisco television station that he's deeply sorry about the shooting.

During the interview Wednesday with reporter Juliette Goodrich, Goh added "(But) if I tell them sorry, it doesn't bring anybody back."

Goodrich reported that as they spoke, Goh kept his head down. His eyes were bloodshot and at one point he started to cry, she said.

"I only remember parts of that day and it is too hard to talk about," Goh reportedly told Goodrich.

But he did not appear to make any effort to dispute allegations by authorities that he was the gunman on April 2 at Oikos University in Oakland.

Goh had declined a request from The Associated Press for an interview.

Goh, 43, a native of South Korea and former student at the school, has been charged with seven counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder in the deadliest U.S. campus attack since the shooting at Virginia Tech in 2007. He has not yet entered a plea.

Police have said Goh was targeting an administrator who had been involved in his financial dispute with the school. When he learned she wasn't there, police say, he began shooting in classrooms. Police are also investigating whether Goh might have been seeking multiple targets.

Meanwhile, the director of the nursing program at the California Christian college where Goh allegedly went on his rampage said her students don't want to return to the classroom building where the shootings took place.

Ellen Cervellon said Wednesday that nursing students at Oikos University are still traumatized by the April 2 shooting and are looking for a new space off campus to hold classes. Instructors say they are not sure when classes will resume.

During a memorial held Tuesday, Cervellon ? who believed she was the intended target of the attack ? praised the victims she called the "loved seven."

Doris Chibuko, 40, of San Leandro: Judith Seymour, 53, of San Jose; Grace EunHea Kim, 23; Lydia Sim, 21, Bhutia Tshering, 38, and Sonam Choedon, 33, and secretary Katleen Ping, 24, were killed in the attack.

"They came in July, a year ago. They came with hope ... to work as a nurse, to care for people," Cervellon said about the victims.

Jeong Gwan Lee, the Korean Consul General in San Francisco, told mourners the incident is an appropriate time for the Korean community to pause for reflection.

Australia pondering joining e-book lawsuit bandwagon

Image
If Apple and the Big Five thought they only had to contend with a federal e-book lawsuit in the US, they'd better think again. Australia's Competition and Consumer Commission is inviting local businesses to raise formal concerns as it weighs up launching its own judicial broadside against the alleged cartel. The Commission refused to comment publicly on its plans beyond saying that it was "aware of the latest developments" and would listen to local resellers who had concerns about the Australian market. While Simon & Schuster, Hachette and HarperCollins made back-room deals with the DoJ yesterday, they'd still be involved (at least initially) with the second front of this conflict. Meanwhile, the threat remains of the European Union joining in: turning it from a spot of local trouble into a global courtroom battle for the future of e-book pricing.

Day Trading Penny Stocks Strategies | Penny Stocks

April 12, 2012 in penny stocks | Comments (0)

Tags: Penny, Stocks, Strategies, Trading

While there are common fundamental everyone must learn, individual strategies for day trading penny stocks online vary much the way one?s taste in music or film might vary. After you learn the fundamentals, you need to experiment for yourself and learn what works with your aptitude and sensibility. While reading this article keep the following queries in mind and be honest with yourself:

Humans are subjective beings. Can you stick to this strategy even if you dislike the stock?s company? Do I have the time and resources to stay on top of this particular strategy? What is my risk tolerance? Can I endure the psychological volatility of this strategy? Do I have the liquid capital to really make this strategy work without ruining my finances if things go wrong? Do I have the time and, be honest here, the patience and attention span to stay focused on this strategy long enough to fulfill its potential?

Diversify and Learn Before You Day Trade

Straight investing can be simple if you choose. The bottom line on this beginner?s strategy is to research and monitor a business?s financial data, then way them in the context of general economic factors. From a trader?s perspective, this requires understanding mechanical stock trading strategies. This means you back test to arrive on a set of indicators consistent with a particular stock?s past behavior. You then trade on predetermined trigger points. This isn?t an aggressive trading strategy, and thus evaluations are often only made every quarter when new information becomes available.

As long as you diversify and take your time with your research, this strategy does not involve too much volatility. It is a good approach for people who don?t mind thoroughly researching a company and the market once every three months. The down side is that you must be very careful to do proper research when you buy and sell quarterly or you could waste a lot of time and money.

Work Your Way Up to Day Trading Time Frames

Stock trading strategies are often identified by time frames. Reduce trade time to decrease risk, or increase trade time to decrease mental stress and trading commissions. If you have the time, resources and personal focus and intensity, fast and frequent trading can be profitable once you know what you?re doing. But many people burn out before they follow their strategy through to fruition, so sometimes the aforementioned simple investing strategy is best, even if not technically optimum from a financial standpoint. You have to be realistic with yourself.

Chart Your Penny Stocks

Learning to chart stocks is a key strategy. Essentially, you develop visual cues you associate with mathematical equations. As you learn more and more about how different historical equations manifest themselves in the patterns of the stock market, you start to spot patterns much like the way some people like to spot animals in the shapes of the clouds. This allows you to evaluate large volumes of data more quickly and intuitive make top-level decisions before delving down into the details.

Swing Trading Penny Stock

Another fundamental strategy will be swing trading. Swing trading occurs when savvy investors use historical tools such as resistance and support point and Fibonacci numbers to make money on short-term price corrections. These corrections are identified within a general incline of a stock?s behavior. Essentially, you?re identifying extreme behavior in a general trend, and that extreme behavior usually corrects itself pretty quickly. So you identify and exploit these quick corrections to make the most with day trading penny stocks.

Satellite spies on North Korea's countdown

DigitalGlobe

This picture from DigitalGlobe's QuickBird satellite shows the launch pad at the Tongchang-ri Launch Facility in North Korea, as seen on April 9. Three dark-colored support vehicles are lined up on the launch apron. The rail-mounted mobile launch platform is toward the bottom of the pad, with an exhaust deflector that's designed to deal with the hot blast of launch.

By Alan Boyle

While North Korean officials were showing off their preparations for a controversial satellite launch, DigitalGlobe's Quickbird satellite was snapping high-resolution pictures of the scene from far above. The images reveal how far the North Koreans have come ? and how much can be gleaned about their intentions from orbit.

DigitalGlobe is a commercial satellite imagery provider, and QuickBird can provide pictures at a resolution of a half-meter (20 inches) per pixel. But you can bet that U.S. intelligence agencies are getting significantly better views of the Tongchang-ri Launch Center from their satellites.

North Korea is due to launch its Unha-3 ("Milky Way 3") rocket anytime between now and April 16, ostensibly to send an Earth-observing satellite known as Kwangmyongsong-3 ("Bright Shining Star 3") into a pole-to-pole orbit. The United States and its allies worry that the launch is really more of a test of North Korea's capability to launch intercontinental missiles as weapons.

International journalists, including a team from NBC News, were invited to visit the secretive hard-line communist nation this week for an on-the-ground assessment of the space mission. NBC News space analyst James Oberg said that in its current configuration, the booster is "not a military missile ... but it's darn close."

"This rocket is not a weapon, but it's maybe 98 percent of one," Oberg said. "It can be converted all too easily and all too frighteningly into a weapon, and they don't need it."

AmericaSpace's Craig Covault said the Tongchang-ri facility is clearly built to handle rockets much larger than the Unha-3. He quoted U.S. and South Korean intelligence analysts as saying they believe the complex could be used for tests of North Korea's "Satan" long-range ballistic missile, as well as a North Korean-Iranian booster with up to six engines clustered in the first stage.

"Iran and possibly North Korea plan to use the large new space launch booster to send Iranian and North Korean astronauts into space," Covault wrote. He lays out a Korean-Iranian missile development program that sounds positively scary.

North Korea might have been hoping that this week's visit by journalists would put Washington's fears to rest. But based on the feedback so far, it doesn't sound as if that'll be the case.

Here's tonight's report from NBC News' Richard Engel in Pyongyang:

A North Korean satellite is poised to launch to commemorate the 100th birthday of Kim Il-sung, but there are some doubts over whether it will ever go into orbit. NBC's Richard Engel reports.

Jada Pinkett-Smith: Marital Woe Rumors Are "Ridiculous"

Fifteen years is a long time to be a married in Hollywood, so it's actually kind of surprising that it's taken tabloids this long to cook up rumors that there's trouble in paradise for Jada Pinkett-Smith and Will Smith. Jada, however, isn't sweating the gossip one bit.
